Cartridge Filters

We offer a great assortment of cartridge filters to help remove particulates other than calcium, magnesium, and iron, which are removed by water softeners and iron filters.

Both well water and city water pick up sediment from the ground and from pipes. A sediment filter traps many of those particulates to help provide crystal clear water.

Carbon Filters

Carbon Filters help remove chlorine in the water, providing a fresher taste. Coconut Carbon Filters are widely regarded as producing the best quality drinking water amoung all other carbon products. Coconut carbon is highly effective at removing bad taste and odor from water. Coconut Carbon Filters will also remove chlorine, VOC’s, and some will also remove MTBE.

Specialized Filters

Specialized Filters are made that help reduce iron, crypto and giardia. For further purity of your water, try a Reverse Osmosis or Ultrafiltration System.

Time Clock vs Mechanical or Electronic Controls

A Time Clock is pretty much self explanatory. You simply set the clock to regenerate the softener at the same time every so many days as you program the clock to do.

A Mechanical or Electronic Controlled water softener regenerates when a determined volume of water has been softened. Therefore, if you have weeks when you use a lot of water, the softener will regenerate more frequently. If you have weeks when you don’t use much water, the water softener won’t regenerate until the designated volume has been used. The Electronic Controlled meter has a large backlit LCD display for ease of programming versus the mechanical meter which is simply control dials.

The Mechanical or Electronic Controls we use on our products will help save on salt and have the system run more efficiently by only having the system regenerate when needed based on usage.

John Guest has a long established reputation as a world leading manufacturer of fittings, tube, and fluid control products. We count on their reputation for parts you can trust on when installing only the best for your new water quality products.

When the holding tank is full, the automatic shut-off device is triggered and signals the system to automatically cease production until more water is needed.

Water Softener Size

Water softeners come in different sizes based on your family’s anticipated water usage and the hardness of your water. The larger tanks have more resin to soften more water.

To be sure you get the correct water softener to handle your water conditions and to accomodate your specific usage, it is important to have your water tested by a qualified technician who fully understands water problems and can correctly choose the right product for your needs.
